Matt Williams, Principal, Senior Landscape Architect at O2 Planning + Design, Calgary, Alberta

Matt leads the firm’s landscape architecture practice and has considerable experience managing high-profile urban design, mixed-use, campus, facility, and large park projects. Matt’s work emphasizes the development of multi-functional landscapes and public spaces that meet both the cultural and ecological needs of a site. From master planning through design development and construction documentation, Matt ensures fine attention to detail for both planned and built projects. 

Matt is the Past President of the Association of Landscape Architects (AALA) and represented the AALA on the City of Calgary’s Urban Design Review Panel from 2012 to 2016. He holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo in Planning.
