Profile
Joey Sabljic, a third year English major has been marinating in kitschy sixties pop music most for most of his life. He’s studied classical piano since the tender age of six, later becoming seduced by guitar, bass and accordion along the way. When he hasn’t been devoting the better part of his youth to music or his attempts at growing a moustache, he works as a writer with the SPARK program in the Office of Research and as an undergraduate research assistant with the Improvisation, Community and Social Practice research initiative. In the fleeting moments of leisure time his tortured artist existence affords him, Joey enjoys watching Sean Connery-era James Bond movies as they bring him back to a time when excessive amounts of bodily hair were attractive to most women.
