Dan is in his fourth year of Study in the Doctoral Program for Chemistry in the College of Physical and Engineering Science. He taught himself how to play the guitar 11 years ago and has been lead vocals in several musical collaborations since. While he has not had the opportunity to explore his musical interest as a profession, he has provided musical entertainment at parties and departmental events for the past few years while in attendance at the University of Guelph. Aside from music, he is also involved with the Guelph based improv troupe "Players Without Strings", based out of Synn Studios downtown, which provides improvisation instruction and shows for the Guelph community.
