Profile
Chris Earley has spent his whole life as a nature geek. He has been the Arboretum’s Interpretive Biologist and Education Coordinator for the last 18 years and this allows him to spread his geekiness around to everyone from preschoolers to elderhostelers. While he has some musical background with the saxophone and the jang-go (an hourglass-shaped Korean drum), it’s really bird calls that everyone wants to hear. Unfortunately, the Royal Conservatory doesn’t offer this popular musical technique, so he is a self-taught bird whisperer. Chris lives in Rockwood with his wonderful wife and two great kids and enjoys playing basketball and soccer.
