AHL Update - Current status, Current hours, after hours drop off closed and a new AHL fee schedule/user guide coming May 1.
To our valued clients, below is an update of our status as we move through these trying times:
1. As an essential service, AHL is open and continues to operate with reduced staffing. We have altered working hours with two shifts in some areas to make sure we have proper physical distancing and to keep up with the workload.To concentrate on priority tests, we have for the time being discontinued most virus neuralization testing.
Turn around times for all tests, including send-outs, may be affected (batching) - please contact the lab if you have questions: ahlinfo@uogeulph.ca
2. AHL Guelph hours of operation have been altered. Specimen room is open from 8AM to 4PM Monday to Friday and 9AM to 5PM Saturday. PLEASE NOTE! For security reasons, after hours drop-off of submissions is only available 4PM to 5PM Monday to Friday. AHL Specimen Reception is now closed on Sundays and holidays . Only
emergency postmortem drop-off is available after hours, Sundays and holidays. The specimen reception phone is monitored on Sunday and holidays for emergency postmortem inquiries. (519-824-4120 ext 54530).
AHL Kemptville hours remain the same - 8:15AM to 4:30PM Monday to Friday (closed Saturday, Sunday and holidays).Drop-off procedures remain unchanged as well.
3. May 1 is the beginning of AHL's new fiscal year. A new Fee schedule and User guide will be available shortly. Current clients will receive one in the mail closer to May 1.
