Women's Work at Ontario Fall Fairs: Jodey Nurse at Rural History Roundtable

On Thursday, October 17th Jodey Nurse appears at the Rural History Roundtable: “‘Exhibiting Great Taste and Skill’: Women’s Work at Fall Fairs in Ontario, 1846-1980.” The talk takes place from 7:00- 8:00 pm at Guelph Public Library, Programming Room, 2nd floor, jointly sponsored by the Rural History Roundtable and the Guelph Public Library. Jodey Nurse is PhD Candidate and Co-coordinator of the Rural History Roundtable Series at the University of Guelph. Her current research examines women’s participation in county and township agricultural societies and fairs.
