Oct. 25 is Wild Ontario's Cannon Day! Stop by Branion Plaza from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to meet Wild Ontario's student volunteers and birds of prey. They'll also be taking donations, so bring your spare change!

Join UofG alumna Lauren Lambert who will talk about how she got her start as a Junior Embryologist with Hannam Fertility Centre. Lauren's presentation will be followed by a question and answer period moderated by Julia Leary, Career Advisor. Human Kinetics 5K

The 9th annual Human Kinetics 5K is taking place Sunday, Oct. 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the university Arboretum. Grab your running shoes, gather your friends and join us for a 5K run (or walk) through the Arboretum!  Registration is $15, with proceeds going toward United Way Guelph. An e-transfer must be made to hksa@uoguelph.ca immediately after filling out the registration form to confirm your spot.

Dr. Jerome Dempsey, professor emeritus in the Department of Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and director of the John Rankin Laboratory of Pulmonary Medicine, will be presenting several lectures as part of the Department of Human Health and Nutritional Sciences' Seminar Speaker Series.  Lectures will be held Oct. 19, 20, 23-25 between 10:20 a.m. and 12 p.m. and will be delivered both in-person and over zoom.
