Details
This workshop's foundation is Prosci’s Taking Charge of Change Workshop.
The workshop delivers the fundamental concepts of change management and establishes how effective change management can benefit your organization.
The program applies the Five Tenets of Change Management to a specific project or change initiative to build awareness and desire for change management—the first two milestones in the Prosci ADKAR Model.
At the end of this one-day online experience, participants will be able to:
- Define change management.
- Understand the value of change management.
- Apply the 5 Tenets of Change Management to your initiative.
- Create a commitment-to-action plan.
This program is designed to build awareness and desire for change management within the organization.
Participants will learn how to establish a shared definition of change management and will be introduced to the fundamental tools and concepts within the Prosci methodology.
This workshop is offered to registrants at no cost.
The CIO’s Program Management Office (PMO) will cover Prosci's fee for each registrant, which is $285 per participant for the Prosci workshop participant workbook and materials. There is a maximum of 15 participants.
Online registrants must pick up their material package on the Guelph Campus before the workshop date. Information will be sent to the registrants closer to the workshop date.
Note: The Taking Charge of Change Workshop is designed to raise awareness and stimulate a desire for additional knowledge about change management; it is not intended to replace Prosci’s Change Practitioner Program.
