Looknauth Ramsahoi

My name is Looknauth Ramsahoi and I am involved in the Ontario raw milk testing program. The program ensures that the quality of raw milk entering the food supply is of excellent quality by testing of milk for composition, bacteria, somatic cells, added water and inhibitors. I find it very fulfilling to be involved in agriculture and the production of food. My experiences working at farm and in the laboratory have provided helpful knowledge and skills to understand some of the complexities in the Farm to Fork continuum, especially in the milk testing area. The Leave for Change program is an exciting volunteer opportunity to share my knowledge and provide a link to dairy sectors overseas. More so, I look forward to learning from others. I will be partnering with the Lalitpur District Milk Producer’s Cooperative Union in Lalitpur, Nepal as a Production Quality Advisor for 3 weeks
