Susan Kelner

I coordinate the Ontario Pesticide Education Program. We certify farmers and pesticide vendors in the safe handling of pesticides. My career interests evolve around the fields of pesticide safety, adult education, lifelong learning and rural extension. I am an OAC ’82 Aggie, Librarian (MLIS Western) and Adult Educator (M.Ed. Western). I am excited to participate in Leave for Change 2012 working as an international volunteer with the support of University of Guelph and Uniterra (WUSC & CECI). For my three week assignment, I will share and learn with the staff at the Non-formal Education Division (NFED), Ministry of Education, Ghana in my role as an Adult Education – Curriculum Development Advisor.
