A team of four University of Guelph real estate and housing students (BComm) took home multiple top place finishes, including first place overall and $5,000, at this year’s Ryerson “Expand your Empire” Case Competition in Toronto on Saturday March 4.
Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute brought home the $500 top prize from the inaugural GryphBiz Case Competition held at the University of Guelph on March 2. The competition, which challenged teams to respond to a business case featuring Boston Pizza, welcomed four Guelph high schools to Macdonald Hall, the newly-renovated home of business at the university.

The GryphBiz Case Competition, which will be held at Macdonald Hall - the University of Guelph’s newly-renovated home for business - will unite business-minded students from four local high schools to compete against each other in developing the best solution to a real-world problem.
Since the start of Ontario’s cap and trade program at the beginning of 2017, criticism and concern have been heard loud and clear across the province.
