Welcome to the Math & Stats Club!
Undergraduate Mathematics, Statistics, and Mathematical Science majors at the University of Guelph are encouraged to be members of our club. We organize various social events throughout the year which is a great way to meet other students, especially those who may not be in your classes!
In addition to the social aspect of the club, members also engage in outreach such as offering interactive activities for school groups, assisting with mathematics contests, and providing extracurricular learning opportunities for fellow undergraduate students.

Events and Engagement
The Math & Stats Club hosts a variety of events that strike a balance between academic and social activities. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where students from all departments, not just Math & Statistics, can come together to connect, socialize, and learn alongside others who share similar interests. We organize free math and stats-themed events that are both engaging and enjoyable for everyone involved!

Benefits of Joining our Club
We have over 50 registered members, but our community extends far beyond that, including many who aren't officially registered. Membership isn't required to participate in our events or access our services—everything is open to everyone. We also share all our news and updates on social media (Instagram), making it easy for anyone to stay connected and get involved.
The greatest advantage of joining the club is becoming part of our vibrant community and making new friends. If that’s not enough, we offer free food and drinks at all our events! Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to build connections with your professors in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We also sell cool merchandise (sweaters, hoodies, t-shirts, jackets) at a really affordable price.

Welcome to the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Guelph. We are an active and dynamic group of researchers and educators working in a wide range of fields. We are proud to offer both undergraduate and graduate degree programs designed to showcase the uses of mathematics and statistics and help prepare students for careers in Mathematical Science.
