Established in honour of the late Dr. Alireza (Ali) Navabi, a dedicated and passionate wheat breeder and professor in the Department of Plant Agriculture. Apply by April 1st using the OAC Undergraduate Convocation Award Application Form. Selection will be based on research potential as demonstrated by breadth of experience (e.g, research projects and related work experience).
Students who are graduating in June or have graduated in the previous winter or fall convocations from any degree program offered by the Ontario Agricultural College who intend to pursue graduate studies in the Department of Plant Agriculture. Preference will be given to students who have experience with and/or propose to undertake cereal science research.
