This award was established through the Estate of Dr. and Mrs. David John McLellan in 1985 for students with the highest standing in the courses in which equine diseases are taught. Selection will be based on the highest standing in the courses/rotations in which equine contagious diseases are taught: VETM*4450 (Equine Medicine & Surgery), and the Large Animal Medicine rotation.
Students from the VETM*4920 Equine Stream who have completed VETM*4450 and Phase 4 of the D.V.M. program.
