Selection will be based on a recommendation from the nutrition faculty, based on their demonstrated knowledge and application of small animal clinical nutrition over the course of their clinical rotations. In the event of equally qualified candidates, the student with the best performance in the Small Animal Clinical Nutrition elective rotation will be selected. Application is not required.
Students who have completed Phase 4 of the DVM program at the Ontario Veterinary College who have maintained a focus on nutrition as a cornerstone of veterinary medicine and the 5th vital assessment. They have demonstrated keen knowledge and application of small animal clinical nutrition over the course of their clinical rotations.
