E.B. Prize for Excellence in Veterinary-Client Relations [C2200]

The E.B. Prize for Excellence in Veterinary-Client Relations has been established in recognition of the role that veterinarians play in the life of pet owners and in memory of a special standard poodle named Wizard. Nominations can be made by any faculty or staff member, intern or resident at the Ontario Veterinary College who is familiar with the student’s service to clients. Nominations should include a letter detailing the student’s outstanding client service. Submit nominations by April 1st to the office of the Associate Dean, Students, Ontario Veterinary College. The recipient will be selected based on their demonstration of excellent client care in their Companion Animal Hospital rotations, exhibiting the following but not limited to: effective communication; showing compassion and empathy; going above and beyond to ensure an excellent client experience; and positive client survey feedback results. In the event of equally qualified nominations, the student with the highest Phase 4 average will receive the award.
