To support the Podium 24 initiative, this award was established by Professor Richard Moccia to encourage student athletes to support their local community through volunteerism. No application is necessary. Coaches will nominate students to the Athletic Awards Committee.
Entering student-athletes who are members of the Gryphon Track and Field team or current members of the Gryphon Track and Field team who have achieved a minimum 75% average or equivalent during the previous academic year as a student-athlete. Preference given to student-athletes who have volunteered in the Guelph-Wellington community.
