Gryphon Alumni Wally Gabler and Alison Horton have established this award as part of the She’s Got Game Initiative at the University of Guelph with the goal of developing strong female student-athlete leaders in our community. The recipient will be selected based upon extraordinary athletic and leadership qualities. No application is necessary. Coaches will nominate students to the Athletic Awards Committee.
Entering student-athletes who are members of any Gryphon Women’s team or current member of any Gryphon Women’s team who have achieved a minimum 70% average or equivalent during the previous academic year as a student-athlete. Preference will be given to athletes who are participating in the Gryphon Leadership Academy.
