Helen Knowles ‘93 has established this award to support players on the Gryphon Women’s Hockey team and in support of the She’s Got Game initiative. As a hockey alumna and former Gryphon Coach Helen found her experience at the University of Guelph to be transformative and wanted to give back to future members of the program. Recipients will be selected based on demonstrated athletic and leadership qualities. Coaches will nominate students to the Athletics Awards Committee. Application is not required.
Entering student-athletes who are current members of the Gryphon Women’s Hockey team or current members of the Gryphon Women’s Hockey team who have achieved a minimum 70% average or equivalent in the previous academic year as a student-athlete.
