This award was created by Guelph Soccer to celebrate their partnership with the Gryphon Athletics through the Junior Gryphons. The award will recognize student-athletes who impact youth sport in our community. Coaches will nominate students to the Athletics Awards Committee. Selection will be based on extraordinary athletic and leadership qualities. One scholarship to be awarded to a member of the Gryphon Women’s Soccer team and one scholarship to be awarded to a member of the Gryphon Men’s Soccer team.
Entering student-athletes who are members of a Gryphon Soccer team or current members of a Gryphon Soccer team who have achieved a minimum 70% average or equivalent during the previous academic year as a student-athlete. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated engagement in the Guelph soccer community.
