Established in honour of former president of the University of Guelph, Dr. William (Bill) Winegard, who was an enthusiastic supporter of international development studies here on campus. The Dr. William Winegard Scholarship in International Development supports undergraduate students at the Guelph Institute of International Development Studies (GIDS) and continues his legacy of internationalization and impact on students of today for a better tomorrow. The award will be given to the two students entering with the highest admission averages. No application required.
