Established in loving memory of Jennifer Allison Hazlitt Heard (BA ‘10) and supported by family and friends to honour Jennifer’s time at U of G. This award was created to support immigrants to Canada as Jennifer saw firsthand from her closest friends the obstacles they had to overcome. She was passionate about identifying challenges facing Canada and looking ahead for ways to make Canada a better place. The family hopes to inspire others to follow Jennifer’s passion. Apply by April 15 by submitting the Jennifer Heard Memorial Scholarship application and the online Financial Need Assessment Form for Entrance Awards (E.N.A.F.) as soon as they receive their acknowledgment email from Admission Services (this will come automatically after an application for admissions has been submitted by the student). Selection will be based on financial need.
Students entering any program whose parent(s) is a first or second-generation immigrant and who demonstrate financial need.
