The Dr. Bill Hanson Entrance Scholarship was established in honour of Dr. Hanson, DVM, Diplomate ABVP (canine, feline). Apply by October 7th to Student Financial Services with a completed Financial Need Assessment Form, and send a cover letter and resume detailing involvement in community service and/or athletics (including any leadership positions held), as well as a reference letter from a supervisor at a community service organization or an athletic coach during the Fall call for applications from the OVC Dean’s office. Selection will be based on the quality and impact of the student’s leadership.
Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons registered in Phase 1 of the DVM program with demonstrated leadership through community service and/or athletic achievement prior to entering the DVM program. Preference will be given to students with financial need.
