Established by Kevin Golding, former Chair of the Board of Governors University of Guelph and his wife Leigh and their family in support of the University of Guelph's Anti-Racism Action Plan to address racism, hatred and discrimination. The Golding Family created this bursary in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement to support black students as they pursue their post-secondary education. Apply by April 15 by submitting the Kevin & Leigh Golding and Family Bursary in Suppot of Black Student Scholars application and the online Financial Need Assessment Form for Entrance Awards (E.N.A.F.) as soon as they receive their acknowledgment email from Admission Services (this will come automatically after an application for admissions has been submitted by the student). Selection will be based on financial need.
Black students entering any degree program with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students from Ontario.
