Established by the Guelph Historical Society and supported by Ruth and Eber Pollard in recognition of Ruth and Eber Pollard's contribution as President and Treasurer, respectively, of the Society during the years 1972 to 1993. Selection will be based on the strongest essay. Preference given to an essay with a local dimension. No application necessary.
Students from the History major who have completed a 3000- or 4000- level history course that includes Canadian history and written an essay focused on Canadian history.
