Provided by the family, friends and colleagues of the late Dr. John Vanderkamp, former Dean of the College of Social Science (1981-91) and Chair of the Department of Economics (1971-1980). Application is not required.
Student registered in an Economics specialization in the B.A. program who has competed between 12.5 and 15.0 credits, and has declared his/her intention to proceed in the honours program. The award winner will be selected on the basis of high academic achievement, particularly in the applied Economics courses, and the award will be presented after the recipient has registered in a subsequent semester of an honours specialization in the B.A. in Economics.
