Selection will be made on the basis of demonstrated financial need and strong community involvement both inside and outside of residence. Students apply June 1 by completing the online Residence Life Staff Scholarship form and submit a letter of support from a Residence Life Staff member or member of Residence Student Government to the Director of Student Housing. Recipients must reside in a Guelph main campus residence for the full year in which they hold this award in order to receive the full award, or one full semester to receive $250 of the award, and are required to submit their residence deposit by the published due date.
Students registered in any degree program with a minimum 70% average who have successfully attained a Residence Life Staff position with Student Housing Services and who are receiving OSAP or financial assistance through their provincial/territorial student loan program.
