Established by the friends and family of Dr. Dalia Fayek. Dr. Fayek was a role model for woman in engineering. She believed passionately that more women should become engineers and spent a great deal of her time mentoring young women in her profession. Dr. Fayek's passion was instinctive to every part of her life, whether it was her family, community or church. Apply by September 30 with a letter of no more than 500 works to the School of Engineering Awards Committee soe.undergraduateawards@uoguelph.ca that summarized your passion for a specific and relevant cause you have been involved with at the university or in the community. Selection will be based on high academic standing and demonstrated passion for a specific cause. If two or more students demonstrate significant passion for a cause they have been involved with, the student who has the highest cumulative average will be selected.
Students registered in any major offered by the School of Engineering who have completed at least 10.75 credits, including ENGG*3450 with a minimum 80% average and who show passion in their commitment to any cause specific to the applicant.
