Established via a generous donation from the Weiner Family. Professor Jack Weiner taught in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics from 1982-2011. The recipient will be selected on the basis of highest average in a minimum of 4.0 credits from semesters 3 and 4. This award is not tenable with the Gordon Ashton Mathematical Science Scholarship (I0543), the Wally Fraser Mathematical Science Scholarship (I0544), or the R.C. Moffatt Memorial Scholarship in Mathematical Science (I0536).
Students registered in a major offered by the Department of Mathematics & Statistics who have completed a minimum of 9.0 credits, but no more than 14.5 credits, with a minimum 75% cumulative average.
