This scholarship was established by Marriott International Inc. to celebrate a student who is having a positive impact towards diversity and inclusion within their community. Apply by May 15 to the HFTM Awards Committee (hftaward@uoguelph.ca) with a letter outlining initiatives and activities undertaken to promote, advance and demonstrate personal commitment to increased advocacy for diversity and inclusion. Selection will be based on demonstrated strong leadership and innovative approaches to increasing advocacy for diversity and inclusion. Students can only hold this scholarship once.
Students registered in any program offered by the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management who have demonstrated advocacy for diversity and inclusion through extracurricular activities undertaken both on and off campus.
