This scholarship was established by Marriott International Inc. to celebrate a student who is having a positive impact towards diversity and inclusion within their community. Apply to the HFTM Awards Committee (hftaward@uoguelph.ca) by May 15th with a letter outlining initiatives and activities undertaken to promote, advance and demonstrate personal commitment to increased advocacy for diversity and inclusion. Selection will be based on demonstrated strong leadership and innovative approaches to increasing advocacy for diversity and inclusion.
Students registered in any program offered by the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management who have completed a minimum of 4.5 credits, but no more than 9.5 credits and who have demonstrated advocacy for diversity and inclusion through extracurricular activities undertaken both on and off campus.
