This scholarship was established by Marriott International, Inc. to celebrate a student who is having a positive impact on their community. Apply to the HFTM Awards Committee (hftaward@uoguelph.ca) by May 15th with a letter outlining community volunteer/extracurricular initiatives and activities undertaken in the previous academic year. Selection will be based on the greatest impact made in the community through volunteering and/or extracurricular activities.
Students registered in any program offered by the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management who have completed a minimum of 4.5 credits, but no more than 9.5 credits and who have volunteered or participated in extracurricular activities and initiatives off campus in the previous academic year.
