The FedEx Canada Tax Scholarship was created to demonstrate the company’s support of the students’ hard work in the classroom and as a volunteer. Apply by January 31 to the Department of Management Awards Committee (dmawards@uoguelph.ca) with a detailed letter outlining volunteer activities related to tax including but not limited to the on-campus tax clinic or the Lang Tax Conference. Selection will be based on greatest demonstrated impact of volunteer activities. In the event of a tie, the student with the highest cumulative average will be selected.
Students registered in the Accounting major in the B.Comm. program who have completed ACCT*4350 Advanced Taxation with a minimum 75% cumulative average, and who have volunteered in tax initiatives like the on-campus tax clinic, Lang Tax Conference, or any volunteer work related to tax.
