In honour of a lifetime spent in agriculture a scholarship will be presented to a student enrolled in Ontario Agricultural College. David (OAC ’76) was raised on Fairwinds Farm, a dairy farm, near Hampton, Ontario. David was raised by his mother Thelma, and father Russell, whom was also a student of OAC, and had always said to David that he must go to University. How true his words were. David’s lifetime was spent on processing potatoes and peas. Apply by May 15th using the OAC Undergraduate Fall Award Application Form Selection will be based on strongest interest and involvement in farming as demonstrated by work experience.
Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons of Canada registered in the Bachelor of Science program, or the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture program offered by the Ontario Agricultural College, who have demonstrated farming work experience. Preference will be given to students who gained work experience by working on a family operation
