Our family has a long history with the University of Guelph, which we wanted to honour. More importantly, we wanted to honour the memory of William Gregory Brown. Greg was a geography and history student at U of G who went on to practice law. His charitable and supportive nature inspired this award. Indigenous applicants are required to confirm their First Nations, Inuit or Métis identity by completing the Indigenous Identity Confirmation Process for Students. Selection will be based on the highest grade in GEOG*3020, PHIL *3040 or HIST*3130.
Students registered in any program who have completed GEOG*3020 Global Environmental Change, and/or PHIL*3040 Philosophy of Law, and/or HIST*3130 Popular Culture & Punishment 1700-1900 in the previous academic year. Preference will be given to Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and Métis) students.
