Apply by January 10 to the School of Engineering Awards Committee at soe.undergraduateawards@uoguelph.ca with a resume and a 500-word statement describing how they have empowered and reduced barriers for women or girls in the Engineering community. Selection will be based on: 1) Positive impact on women and girls within the Engineering community, 2) Significant contributions towards empowering and reducing barriers for women and girls in engineering, demonstrated through positions held, extracurricular activities, and involvement on campus/in school and/or in the community. In the event of a tie, selection will be based on the highest cumulative average. This award can only be held once.
Female students registered in the Bachelor of Engineering program who have demonstrated a positive impact and significantly contributed to empowering or reducing barriers for women and girls in Engineering.
