This award recognizes the outstanding service of one undergraduate student in the School of Environmental Sciences (SES) at the University of Guelph. The award recognizes an undergraduate student who has demonstrated leadership in activities that foster a diverse and inclusive environment and inspire change within the School of Environmental Sciences. It hopes to specifically recognize contributions that aim to create pathways to resolving these inequities indefinitely. Apply by May 15th by submitting the OAC Undergraduate Fall Award Application form. Applicants will be asked to describe the contributions made to create and foster equitable and inclusive interactions and spaces at the University of Guelph or in the community. Applicants may speak to lived experiences as a member of equity-seeking group(s), experience as an ally or advocate, or both. Selection will be based on demonstrated initiative and leadership in activities that promote advocacy for equity, diversity, and inclusion at the University of Guelph or in the community.
Students registered in any program offered by the School of Environmental Sciences who have participated in activities that promote advocacy for equity, diversity, and inclusion at the University of Guelph or in the community.
