The Rose Bursary was established by Dr. Cynthia Rose, Class of OVC 2012, to support student veterinarians with black heritage in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, and to promote and support diversity in the future of veterinary medicine. In addition to the bursary, recipients of this award will be offered an optional mentorship opportunity by Dr. Rose, focused on small animal practice. Apply by October 7 to Student Financial Services with a completed Financial Need Assessment Form (N.A.F.) and submit the Rose Bursary application. Selection will be based on financial need.
Black students who are registered in Phases 1 to 3 of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to a student in Phase 1.
