This award is established by Ari Gilary and Tammy Benlolo-Gilary to honour their love for animals by supporting the next generation of veterinarians. The donors aim to support a student who is balancing the responsibility of fully or partially self-funding their education by working alongside DVM program studies. Apply in the fall during the call for applications from the Dean's office with a letter from the applicant’s employer indicating the date range of paid employment, coinciding with DVM studies during the fall and winter semesters. Semesters of work do not need to be consecutive. Selection will be based on the highest DVM program average.
Students registered in phase 4 of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program in the Small Animal or Equine Stream who have been employed at any workplace for a minimum of two semesters during the fall and/or winter semesters of phases 1 through 3 while pursuing their DVM program studies.
