Drs Mary DeCaire (OVC ‘76) and Claire Duder (OVC ‘87) have established this bursary to support BIPOC students in their pursuit of a degree in Veterinary Medicine. This bursary was created to promote our strong commitment to diversity in the profession and to honour our family and community Indigenous ties. Apply by October 7th to Student Financial Services with a completed Financial Need Assessment form (N.A.F.) and submit the Centennial Diversity Bursary Application. Indigenous applicants are required to confirm their First Nations, Inuit or Métis identity by completing the Indigenous Identity Confirmation Process for Students. Selection will be based on financial need.
Black, Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis), or person of colour/racialized students registered in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis) students.
