Created in memory of Dr. C.G. Scott (OVC ’51) and Mrs. Fern Scott by their family. Dr. Gordon Scott and his wife Fern founded and developed a successful mixed animal practice in Brantford and Brant County, as well as a Thoroughbred breeding operation. Being a veterinarian was a calling for Gordon, and Fern was an active and supportive partner in their businesses. Gordon shared his enthusiasm for the profession with many OVC students over the years, providing rewarding summer jobs in their practice. Apply by October 7 to Student Financial Services with a completed Financial Need Assessment Form (N.A.F.). Selection will be based on the highest DVM program average.
Students registered in Phase 4 of the DVM program in the Equine Stream or the Rural Community Practice Stream with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students in the Equine Stream.
