Established by an anonymous donor whose life experiences with travel have shaped their worldview. This travel grant was created to provide CSAHS students with the opportunity to explore and experience the many benefits of travel through exchanges, semesters abroad, field courses, conferences, research activities or other curriculum-embedded travel. Apply by April 1 to the CSAHS Awards Committee at csahs.awards@uoguelph.ca with a budget outlining travel expenses and other revenue sources and a letter describing the anticipated benefits of participating in the travel opportunity to your personal and professional development. Indigenous applicants are required to confirm their First Nations, Inuit or Métis identity by completing the Indigenous Identity Confirmation Process for Students. Selection will be based shortfalls as indicated in the travel budget and the anticipated benefits of participating in the travel opportunity on the student’s personal and professional development.

Students registered in any program offered by the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences who are participating in curriculum-embedded travel. Preference will be given in the following order: 1) Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and Métis) students 2) students registered in International Development Studies (IDS) or majoring in Political Science.
