This award was established by Chicken Farmers of Ontario to recognize and encourage outstanding students pursuing a career in the broiler meat industry. Apply by April 1 by completing the Ridgetown Campus Convocation Awards application form. Selection will be based on academic achievement and demonstrated interest in the broiler meat or breeder-boiler industry including but not limited to on-farm, feed, genetics, technical support, and animal care, through participation in extracurricular activities, community involvement, and work experiences.
Students graduating from the Associate Diploma in Agriculture program or the Associate Diploma in Veterinary Technology program who have participated in activities related to broiler meat or the breeder-boiler industry including but not limited to on-farm, feed, genetics, technical support, and animal care.
