To support the development of a new generation of climate leaders, with support from Fondation David R. Graham and in collaboration with Sciences Po, U of T, and UBC through the Climate, Adaptation, Resilience & Empowerment (CARE) program, these scholarships will provide the opportunity for French nationals to participate in courses related to CARE core themes and complete a Master’s degree at U of G. Apply by June 15 by submitting the Climate Adaptation Resilience Empowerment Scholarship application form. Selection will be based on academic excellence and research potential based on assessment of the admission application package.

French nationals (or dual French-Canadian citizens) entering a thesis or course-based Master’s program whose research connects to the CARE program themes of environmental sustainability, including: climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience, energy transitions, biodiversity, and pollution. Preference will be given to students entering the following programs: MA Geography, MSc Geography, MSc Environmental Sciences, Master of Environmental Sciences, and MSc Rural Planning, or any Master’s programs with a Collaborative Specialization in International Development Studies.
