Established by Arthur and Rosmarie Spoerri of Nepean, Ontario, to encourage students to pursue graduate studies in natural sciences. All students who hold a scholarship from NSERC and have been offered admission to an eligible graduate program in the upcoming summer, fall, or winter semester by April 15 annually will be considered. Selection will be based on highest admission average.
Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are entering their first Master or Doctoral program in the natural sciences in the upcoming summer, fall or winter semester who hold a scholarship from NSERC. Students must have completed their respective undergraduate or Master’s degree studies with a minimum 80% cumulative average.
