This scholarship will help increase research capacity around rural development and build much needed expertise in the field creating a “next generation” of rural leaders. Apply by August 15th using the OAC Graduate Fall Award Application Form, demonstrating the relevance of the research and its potential impact to Canadian rural community development. Selection will be based on research potential, academic excellence, and intended benefits and outcomes of the planned research on Canadian rural community development.
Students entering in Winter, Summer or Fall of the award year (i.e. students would be in semesters 1, 2, or 3 at the time the award will be distributed) into a full-time MLA, MSc, or Doctoral degree program offered by the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development whose proposed research is focused on Canadian rural community development.
