Established by the late Dr. O.M. McConkey, a professor in the Department of Plant Agriculture and a pioneer in grassland research and conservation. Apply by August 15th by submitting the OAC Graduate Application Form. Selection will be based on an assessment of research potential, area of research, and academic standing.
Full-time students in the M.Sc. or Ph.D. programs in the Department of Plant Agriculture working in the area of crop breeding and genetics, physiology and management or biotechnology. Preference will be given to students conducting research in the area of forage crops and conservation.
