An award in agricultural ethics is provided by Dr. Hurnik, former faculty member in Animal and Poultry Science, who initiated the work in behavioral studies and animal welfare at Guelph. Apply by August 15th by submitting the OAC Graduate Application Form. Selection will be based on the quality of research proposal and contribution to the field of animal welfare or agricultural ethics as demonstrated by publications, conference presentations.
Full-time students registered in any graduate program offered by the Department of Animal Biosciences with a minimum of "A" standing in their previous two semesters.
