This scholarship was created by Prof. Rosalind Morris, OAC ’42 to support graduate students with studies focused on crop science and horticulture. Prof. Rosalind Morris led an impactful and prolific career in botany. She was the first woman honored as an American Society of Agronomy Fellow in 1979. She established this award to support and inspire the next generation of plant scientists. Apply by August 15th by submitting the OAC Graduate Fall Award Application Form. Applicants will be asked to submit a copy of their research proposal. Selection will be based on the quality of the research proposal and academic achievement.
Full-time students registered in a graduate program offered by the Department of Plant Agriculture who are conducting research in the areas of biochemistry, physiology, or genetics.
