This award was generously established by the estate of Dr. Melanie Freeman. Melanie was an exceptional person who cared so much about her family and friends and the children she met through her practice. Apply by April 30 to the Department of Psychology at psychdep@uoguelph.ca with a CV and a statement about the value of the practicum placement how it contributes to academic and professional goals. Selection will be based on how the practicum placement contributes to the student’s academic and professional goals and academic achievement.
Full-time students registered in the MA or PhD in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology who are participating in a practicum placement. Preference will be given in the following order 1) students in the PhD program whose placements are in rural and underserviced areas of Ontario, 2) students in the MA or PhD whose practicum placement is in rural or underserviced areas of Ontario.
