Established in honour of our colleague and friend, Professor Joubert Satyre, who was a faculty member in the French Studies programme in the School of Languages and Literatures. Originally from Haiti, he received his PhD from the Université de Montréal. Over his career, he was known for his great generosity, his passion for poetry and music, and for his encyclopedic knowledge of French and Francophone literature. Selection will be based on the highest cumulative average in the French courses completed in the previous fall and winter semesters.
Full-time students from the MA French program/Integrated Humanities program in the French Studies Stream who have completed the first two semesters of the program.
